Today I got metal ducting to aim the air from the humidifier into Orion's tank. (I know, tanks = bad, long story, if you are worried email me I'll fill you in).
Well, it works great. It's pretty, has a 5" diameter to let the air flow well. Keeps humidity up. Problem is, after lights out the temp dropped to 57*F! Is this too low? Usually his night temp is about 70. I turned the humidifier off, and covered the screen with a sheet to keep the humidity up for the night, but I need a permanent solution. If 57 is too low, I will invest in a warm mist humidifier. But, because he is in a tank, with the coolmist the temp stays good during the day. So, with warm, I would have to change my lighting setup.
Please help me out!
Thankyou!
