Hi- Yes that is normal! They are the runts of the litter so to speak! I have some that are almost full grown and some that look a week old. Hope this helps!

:I noticed that there is a huge range in sizes in the petri-dish of 3000 eggs. Is this normal... or am I starving some of them? I mean, I've noticed some look like they hatched 2 days ago (but not many) and others are nearly 3/4 of an inch long. Either way... silkies grow faster than anything I've ever seen...
