Unfiltered sunlight is the absolute best thing (lighting-wise)for a chameleon - especially a gravid one. Just make sure she has a place to get out of the sun. Allow her perching spots that give her direct sun all the way to complete shade so she can thermoregulate. Natural sunlight is great for them, but not giving them an option to get out could easily kill them due to overheating. Just think of you at the beach. It is great to begin with, but sooner or later you are going to want to get out! Also remember that even though she is in the shade she is getting the very valuable UVB anyways.
