Sorry to hear such distressing news. I can imagine that you are devastated by these events.

Everyone seems to have clutch maladies on occassion - but this is quite unusual. Can you take a picture of your set-up(s)?

For our last 5 clutches, we used 60qt tubs with paper towels on the bottom, small-leafed vines for plants, and lots of thin twigs (corkscew willow) for climbing. A 4ft double light fixture can be sat over the top (we made a frame so that it doesn't sit directly on the tubs). We fed fruit flies and pinhead crickets. To keep the fruit flies in the tub, we painted the rim with "Bug Barricade". To keep the fruit flies handy for the hatchlings to eat, we used orange wedges on thin wooden skewers (in oriental food section of grocery store), and poked them down into the plants. The fruit flies stay on/near the orange. We also put shredded carrot in the bottom for the crickets.

We misted three times a day - making sure to get most of the water on the leaves only. Use a warm water mist. (HINT: Mist before you add feeder insects - they drown easily) The humidity stays high due to the moist paper towels. We changed the paper towels every few days. And we kept about 12 hatchlings per tub for the first month or so. When they were a bit older, we transfered them to screen enclosures.

We were lucky - we didn't lose a single hatchling (knock on wood), and we have found this to be a good method for us to use. But - as always - what works for one, may not work for another.

In your case, not knowing what the hatchlings look like, or seeing their behavior - it would be impossible to make an experienced suggestion for you. If you could provide pictures of the enclosure - and a couple of the hatchlings, it would help. I am sure other breeders would say the same.

Hope this helps ...
