what is CFHS about?

hi, i am sorry if i sound ignorant, but i am just wondering what is CFHS. i know what CFHS means, i just want to know what does this organization or society does, what are the activities?, what are the meetings about?
again, sorry if i seem ignorant, i love snakes but i have no friends with the same interest and i'd like to meet people with the same interest, after all it's a hobby.
