: Snake Getters is in desperate need of volunteers to handle snake removal calls in the Central FL area. As all of you know, rapid growth has forced many of our native snakes into residential neighborhoods where they are often killed by panicked residents.
: Snake Getters relocates these snakes (when a suitable habitat is close by) and finds homes for the animals which can't be relocated. We respond to countless calls for ratsnakes and even an occasional eastern hognose or pinesnake (2 pines have been rescued in the last couple months). We recently removed a 3 ft tegu (someone's escaped pet) so you never know what you will get.
: We also handle snake removals for native venomous snakes and can provide safe handling training for interested volunteers.
: We especially need volunteers in the Kissimmee / south Orange County (Hunter's Creek) area. However, are interested in volunteers from all over Central FL.
: If you have transportation and a reliable cell phone that we can reach you at, please contact us through our website.

Let me know if i can help in any way what so ever! I live in Port Saint Lucie and have experience with snakes and lizards,I would really love to help. Dave
