: I went on a snake removal call today and ended up removing a 3 foot Colombian black & white tegu that had ended up in someone's laundry room. It must be someone's escaped pet. The lady said she's seen it around her house since September.
: The tegu appears to be in good health and it's temperment is not too bad so far (it's sitting on my lap as I type this).
: I have all the reptiles I need right now and don't really have room for another large lizard. If there are any CFHS members who are interested in giving this lizard a good home, let me know. I prefer someone who has some experience with large lizards (tegus, monitors) or atleast someone who is willing to provide it with a large enclosure and learn about tegu husbandry. I may be able to deliver him to the meeting this week or meet you half way if you live in the Orlando area.
: Thanks,
: Chris
