: My offer of building and maintaining it for free and Gatorland's generous offer of hosting it for free still stands, folks. I am unable to physically make most of the meetings, but can maintain the site if the information about meetings is emailed to me.

MsTT, I took your offer to the board. Some felt it would better to have our website attached to Kingsnake because of the traffic it could generate. Some felt they wanted to go with Victor's site. Some still want to get Michael's site back up and working. I, personally, don't really care, and PERSONALLY, think a web site won't really add much to want we already have. Personally, I think your offer is the best option we've got and would love to go ahead and let you run w/ it. Unfortunately, I can't make that decision on my own. You and Victor are the only people we have with the knowledge and the resources to make it work.
I'll be honest w/ everyone right now, I think the most important thing this club can work on right now is a show. I stated that years ago before I was ever appointed/then elected to the board. Paul is in negotiations w/ the fair grounds right now about a date for that show. Lets face it, since the CFHS' affiliation w/ the NRBE left, our membership has continued to decline, only in the past year have those numbers started to turn around. I think we can continue to sign up new members if we can continue to make this club something special to be a part of. The field trip to Gatorland was a great start. That's what we need more of, fun stuff! I don't think a separate website w/ meeting info etc is really needed, but I'm totally willing to help provide the info for it, if we could ever decide what/when/where to put the darn thing.

p.s. I think it's about time for that next trip we talked about!!!!
