What size are adults?

Hi, I live in England and I have just been given a Carpet Python from the RSPCA (I do re-homing for them) I have decided to keep this little beauty, its a male 'normal' carpet python, he was found in somebody's back garden! He is about four foot now and feeds like a pig. I know on average carpets get to about 7 foot, but what sort of size do you think this guy will get to?
