They might be in 10,000 years. I just don't think they are now. And how do we know where the heck the N. American Jungles were originally collected from? Its known that the ranges overlap and they do breed in the wilds of North Australia. SO how do you know your Jungles come from a "pure" population of Cheynei, or from crosses in the metapopulation?
Its not like Rosies or S. American Boas where we know the locality data. These animal's F generation were caught many moons ago and no new blood has really come in since.
