The easiest way is to use a proportional thermostat with a night drop feature. Another way is to just use one strip of FlexWatt on a timer (and of course a thermostat or rheostat) and just use your room temperature for the night temperature.


:I am looking for a way to heat a rack system to have a night drop. Would two strips of 3" heat tape underneath the tubs 1, set high and on a timmer the 2nd set low that runs constantly. Does anyone have a system like this. Any input you could give me would be great.
