Cheap rack

Here's a rack I built with 1/2" AC plywood sides.

No animals in the rack when the picture was taken - I now use it as a toolbox.

Has held up remarkably well even though I did not use any adhesive when putting it together.

So I'm sure this would work for yours. If your building a really tall rack you might use 3/4".
