Need help with cage for ackie, also I did this

I searched yahoo couldnt find anything, I searched PE site and kingsnake and mostley I find the troughs. Some people speak of certain homemade cages like 4x2x2. But with the cages they speak off you cannot have at least a foot of dirt like most say an ackie should have. Now does anyone how I can make a cage for an ackie because I cant get a trough also pics would be nice. I have 1 juv ackie now and plan to get another, right now he is in a 51gal rubbermaid like container with a custom plexi glass top. I thought this was good because I was told they can live in that size cage, what do you all think
