Rack systems are easy to build. The hardest part for ball pythons, IMO, is finding the right sized box.
Iris makes two boxes that I like. I think they are the CB-110 and the CB-70. Sterilite also makes a Christmas Wreath Box that is nice but hard to find this time of the year.
You can look up the sizes of the Iris boxes, the Sterilite is 28" x 28".
The most important part of rack building is using a spacer. Considering that this is for ball pythons and is your first rack you'll want to cut spacers for a fairly liberal gap. Biggest mistake first-time rack builders make is not leaving enough of a gap. Trust me on this one.
