:I know from experience that the mats can go as high as 120 degrees, maybe higher. Luckily I didn't fry my snake, but I would be careful! I always use thermostats with my UTHs; I find them to be more reliable and less hassle than using a dimmer.

::I think since it runs tops 100 degrees putting it under one of the hidea boxes with a bit of substrate over it might be good.Anyone use it like this?

:Thanks alot.I tested the pad and it only went upto 100 but ofcourse that doesnt mean next week,etc it wont go higher so going to use something to keep temp in check.
