If your going to house a bulb inside the tank, I have seen screen cage type housings which can be placed around the light housing. This way it will not actually block any of the heat like plexyglass would. They look just like a screen box.
::screen it off, so the snake will not be able to directly touch the bulb

:Yeah thats what I was thinking so that I could get proper temps on the hot side I would use one for heat and thats what I was thinking of doing is screening it off. I was thinking plexiglass as well but I think it would block off some heat or am I mistaken, I don't really know. Thanks for the help.
