Well last night I decided to drag out the cypress mulch and do a little cage maintinence . . . the big retics hung out on the bed while I cleaned their cage and enjoyed a little tv lol. Next came my 2 rescue Burms (here's where I find out how stupid I am). I put Major Gunnz (the albino) into the big rubbermaid tub without a hitch, I then grab 11 foot Harley (his previous owner died in a motorcycle accident) and attempted to put him into his tub . . . as I'm putting the top on the tub, he came rocketing out headed for the cage that held the parakeet that my wife had bought for me the previous day! How could I have been so stupid ? I grabbed him just in time to save poor lil Stitch. Man . . . I will never, NEVER clean Harley's cage while my birds are in the room!
