For a guy that once went through a "cowboy" stage where he made sure his snakes had good meals even if he didn't get enough to eat, I know how much you and John cared about the animals and this hobby in general. I also know that the monetary loss (and I can only guess at the value of that collection!) is nothing to y'all when compared to the loss of the snakes themselves.

I also know that this isn't the end for y'all. Most of the bloodline (which is good even if the individual animals themselves are lost forever) in your collection can be replaced and that, best of all, the spirit of you and John can get bruised, but not broken, by anything like this.

As John would say "First your money and then your clothes." Well, they haven't taken your "clothes" yet, so get right back up on that miniature horse and come back at us again. :)
