Another heating option is to use "human" type heating pads, like you can get at the drug store. They usually have a 3 setting control built in and for most snakes the middle setting is adequate. At 10 or 12 inches wide and 14 or 15 inches long they're ideal in size for most enclosures. Nevertheless you still have to monitor temps. with a thermometer AND you need to make sure you have air circulation under the tank to avoid heat build up.

: I set my temp at the low end 74-76 .I still have 3 tapes on my other snakes but I think will look for another heaters any ideas
