I've been using Zoomed and T-Rex heat pads for about a year now. After talking to some folks on this forum I am convinced that the only safe way to heat my snakes if to use heat lamps, which I already do and never had any problems with. I unpluged all my heat pads and will never use them again. It's not worth it to risk the life of my snakes just to raise the temp under them by 5 degrees! To me no heat tape or pad or rock is safe, only light.
