Here is a question...
I have seen locality specific bulls/gophers from Kansas, Texas, Canada etc... However none from Montana. There are numerous Bulls and Gophers in the area I live in and throughout eastern Montana. Does anyone work with bloodlines from Montana??
I am going to be contacting Fish & Game here in Montana to find out about restrictions on capturing wild specimens of Bulls/Gophers. What do you all feel about the capture of wild specimens for future breeding? Ethics and morals type thing.
Also if noone is working with Montana bloodlines and the laws in Montana allow it I might get (if Lucky) a pair or 2 of wild caught with the intentions of future breeding in a few years, any opinions or thoughts???
Thank for input,
Charles
