The history of this blood line goes something like this....Legally collected founders from Los Mombres Durango Mexico area. Result of breeding from founder male and his daughter. This line has resulted in at least two snakes that showed a lack of yellow/red pigments. These three new ones seem to be strongly hypo-melanistic. Oddly the two males have the pattern aberancy while the sister has a normal pattern. I saved all the possible het females from this clutch but only time will tell regarding the heritability of this trait. It is these little surprises that make hatching time so much fun.

PS The founders where the really black and white....silvery snakes that are sometimes seen with this subspecies.
