Thanks for sharing that little tube trick, all my animals are healthy eaters but it is a great idea that I am going to keep in mind for the future... anyway just a thank you for sharing it:-)

:How do you thaw out the frozen mice. You should place the mice in a ziplock bag and into hot water. Let it thaw out, then use a hair dryer to warm the mouse for a couple of seconds. This gives the mouse a more compelling temp and smell snakes look for. If that doesn't work I would first give him a prekilled mouse. If he takes it, offer the thawed one. If he takes that one you are good to go. But, If he doesn't take the prekilled, or thawed you should hold the mouse by the tail and vibrate it in front of him, but not too much to scare him off, just enough to make him think it is alive. Instincts might kick in and he might go for it. If that doesn't work then I would use a method I swear by. Get an empty paper-towel tube, seal up one end using a lunch bag and rubberbad, then place the mouse at that end, bury that end in substrate in the corner of the cage,keep the open end elevated higher, leave the room for a while and come back and check on him later. This will give him a chance to display natural instincts and go into the hole looking for food, but if he sences your presende he might back out. Good luck, let us know how it works out.
