:I am thawing some frozen mice and rats now as I type this. I guess this means I prefer feeding my snakes frozen/thawed. My snakes have always done extremely well with this and for convenience's sake, it is easier for me. In about 35 minutes, I have thawed out, dried off, and fed all my snakes.
:A friend of mine once had a yellow anaconda that had its eyes chewed out by a live rat.
:Some like to feed live just to see the snake constrict and kill the prey. Heck, most of my snakes still go nuts even when feeding thawed.

my snakes are so used to f/t that they no longer know the difference and will yank a thawed rat thru a slight opening like nobody's business. lol. not to mention the considerable savings of feeding f/t [about 66% cheaper] and the not having to go out, burn a quarter tank looking to buy live on a constant basis. its just common cents...;-0
