Jim,
it's a good idea if a female isn't allready a bit heavy to go ahead and let her have a bit more right before her egg making and laying period. Cause those eggs will take a lot out of her so it's a good idea to let her have a bit extra right before this phase. But, too much weight can certainly cause egg binding. Though this is also thought to be caused by lack of exercise as well, thus, no muscle tone, no muscle to help push out all the eggs. Makes sense to me.

::O.K,my two female bulls just got feed two 6 inch rats[body size]they are about 5ft each and have been subject to mating latly,my question is should I give them one more each,I have two my male don't want and the females seem to want more or is that to much.P-RAT
:Well these are still growing and they are being breed this year,I jump a little before anyone responed and feed them the third ones.I put them in front of there face and the rats were gone.I try not to over feed but maybe getting caught up in this being my first year breeding I get a little excited,THANKS TO ALL,JIM
