:I'm not convinced that a too-big tank will have any ill effect on a snake...I would rather buy one full-sized tank than spend money getting a couple of smaller tanks.

:When I built my 60"x27"x27" boa's cage, I put her in as soon as it was done. She was less than 2 1/2 ft at the time, and she had no problems.

:You can see her on the highest branch in this photo, to get a glimpse of her size at the time.
