Lorraine is right. Make sure the pet store "fits the bill" when it comes to everything. Also, make sure to get a snake that fits what you will be able to take care of properly. Do your research on the pet store AND the species that you are looking to get. There are wonderful pet stores out there, you just have to look really hard to find them sometimes. I wouldn't buy anything from the one pet store we have in our area. They haven't a clue about the reptiles they keep. Also, a good pet store won't sell you supplies that you don't need, so know what you need before you go in to make a purchase. I have talked to people that come out of pet stores with 3x's as much stuff as they actually need because they didn't have a clue about the animal they purchased. Lorraine gave you some excellent advice!!!! To answer your question, if the pet store knows what they are doing, any snake you buy will do well!!! Good luck and keep us posted.
