:If it is native to your area, it could be any number of aquatic species such as a snapper or maybe a large cooter. It could also be a wood turtles as they get quite large and are patially terrestrial.

it can close it's shell
it is dark in it's shell with the same color shell as all the others i have seen before
it has yellow weavved into it's shell
it has a domed shell
it is definitely not a snapper or any kind of water turtlr
trust me i know that for sure
it has big massive legs more like the elephant
it looka exactly like every other sox turtle i have ever seen and just like all the pictures of eastern box turtles on the web
