I've been trying to figure out how to put together a lightweight turtle pen that wouldn't be too hard to take with me if I move... this looks like an excellent plan! I'll probably build one about 3'x6', with a chicken wire bottom so that I can leave it above ground instead of digging up the back yard. Of course there will be a thick layer of substrate so the little guy isn't walking around on chicken wire. Does that sound suitable for a single yearling Eastern?
