I am in ohio, and have made them a pen of about 8' by 4' outside, and have about 50:50 land and water. Have you ever gotten any eggs to hatch and gotten babys. Baby malayans are about impossible to find. I found them one time online for $150 each. I hope with a large group of 3.5 I have some success, and there cage does have wire top to keep all other animals out.
