Box turtles NEED moisture and many people keep them in vivaria like set ups with live plants and such but you should note that an adult needs lots of space (at least 10 square feet, more is preferable) and they dig and will eat some of your plants and other small animals (if they can catch them) in your cage.Ypung boxies do okay in small vivaria but eventually need to be moved.
