Like lots of species, relatively little practical husbandry knowledge has been gained that will get these guys to breed reliably. Until some folks have some breakthroughs in breeding them in captivity, and share the info, it will remain slow. The sale price of wild caught adults is so low that it's also not really worth it as an investment for a reptile breeder to try and make money this way, so it is left to hobbyists. Maybe you can be one of the pioneers in getting them breeding reliably? Figuring out things like how to mimic the seasons in their natural environment are a good start.
