I asked the same question here about 2 years ago and ended up with a Dumerils as my first snake since the small ones I caught as a kid. She has been wonderful. I've had very few problems all of which were easily fixed with advice I've gotten by posting here. I've heard some here say that they can be picky eaters but mine has been just the opposite. So much so that the only time she ever gets aggressive is when her extremely strong feeding response kicks in. I also had no problems at all moving her from live to pre-killed.
