Converting Red Tail Boa to Frozen/thawed rat pup?????

I have just got a 22 in red tail boa and tried to feed 7 days after the purchase and he would not eat it, he wans;t interested!!! I was warm and completely thawes and appropriate sized.....?????? Help somebody
