male Guyana BCC. Have yet to decide if he's too dark for her. He's new to me and I've seen his light phase (friggin beautiful, just INSANELY purple, he's as purple as Rose is pink/red) but at the same time, he does get a little too dark for my taste at times. Think I'll hang on to him for a while and see what turns up...

VERY dark phase...

what you're seeing in this pic is DARK purple, he has some speckling, but it stands out from the rest of the dark scales b/c it's black and not dark purple (different intensity).
