:My Yellows always shed in the water. Their eyes will clear, then they'll shed 2 to 4 days later. In the water, they don't seem to need to split their skin at the nose, it just falls off. Sometimes, they'll leave the water as their skin sloughs, trailing it behind them. My Yellows also get an orange belly a few days before the shed starts. The Greens seem to have a harder time in shed, while the Yellows act as if it's no problem. They eat, explore, and even mate while their brille is opaque.
