Hello,

Sorry I dont know about the shed cycles of anacondas, I never kept them. But strangley enough I do remember one of my dumerils about four years ago having cloudy eyes one night then shedding the very next morning. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. But I do think some variations in shed cycles between different species and even individuals within the same species is fairly normal. I am sure your anacoda will be just fine.

:I was right about to post a question today about anacondas &
:thier shed cycles. They seem longer right? I mean the time
:between when their eyes cloud over and when they actually shed.
:Well I took out my baby yellow anaconda who is incredibly calm
:& tame a little while ago & he tried to rub his head against my
:finger. I thought OK he's finally going to bite me, but no
:he's trying to start his shed & make the initial break. Strange,
:my dumerils just shed right in front of me today in his cage &
:I never saw his eyes cloud over. Anybody with yellow anacondas
:notice if their shed cycle takes longer than usual? I'm betting
:he'll shed tonight once I put him back in his cage.
:Thanks............tc
