I had a Hogg island boa about three years ago that gave birth to seven healthy babies and one slug. The mother was a few inches short of four feet! Very healthy to this day. My friend now owns the snake. The babies are all healthy and doing great. I kept two that are around three and a half feet now. The rest were given to friends.
