: I have a question about female boas giving birth. On monday I came home at 7:30pm. My female boa was laying there with only one perfect baby born. The baby looked great and was the only one she had. I thought that she might have just began to give birth. I waited....and waited...and waited. At 3:30 in the morning I finally fell asleep. Well it wasn't until 6:30pm the next day that she had the rest of them. I thought this was strange. She had one single perfect baby, then almost 24 hours later had the rest of her litter. Has anyone observed something like this with any of their boas. Well on a good note...this was my first litter of boas being the young kid that I am. And I am very pleased. Final results were 32 perfect babies and 2 slugs. I have another female boa due soon as well. And I am expecting 2 clutches of eggs from some balls. I feel very proud considering I am still in highschool.
