You mentioned above,"It comes from a proven line",(that goes by that name.) Why the name "Jungle" was chosen for this genetic anomoly,I have no idea? it doesn't really describe the various visual characteristics produced from them,there is no quantifyable definition for "jungle" as an adjective used to describe the looks achieved by producing these boas,that I'm aware of,and,this also holds true in regards to the "jungle" ball pythons...I think originally it was in parallel reference to the "jungle" carpet pythons,that were at their peak of popularity at around the same time they were first produced,or,introduced...but,the pythons actually CAME from the JUNGLE,and,their name was not intended to describe their appearence,but,rather the habitat where they originated....OR...they just couldn't think of anything accurately descriptive to call them?! who knows?*lol* (not knocking them btw,I love the line,never understood the name tho.)
