Peter,
. Are you feeding frozen and thawed rats? Sometimes rats get old in the freezer and pick up strange odors or something which makes them unappealing to some snakes. A garbage can eating machine snake would probably not care and eat anything offered but some snakes are picky and only like their rats just perfect. I would try a fresh killed rat and see if that gets any better results. If you are already feeding fresh killed rats or really nice freshly frozen ones then..........nevermind!
Jeff
ps.......some snakes like their frozen and thawed rats warmed back up really warm, almost toasty hot.

:i finally figured out that my poor feeder is not really a poor feeder but just doesn't like rats!!! i feel she's going to be a pain in the butt.

:i tried the pro exotics method. offer a mouse then a rat. she ate the mouse and ignore the rat.

:i tried washing the rat, then putting some mouse dirt on it and letting a few mouse walk over it. she was interested but didn't eat.

:what am i going to try now? and if she gets eating rats will she ever become an aggreessive rat eater or just enough not to die?

:thanks a lot

:(ps. the set up is just like the male. he eats everything)
