I HAVE USED A SONY CYBERSHOT DSC-F505V FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS. IT WENT ON THE BLINK A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO. SO I WENT ON A QUEST TO FIND A NEW CAMERA FOR LESS MONEY THAT WAS CAPABLE OF TAKING BETTER PICS. I LOOKED FOR SEVERAL DAYS AND TRIED EVERY CAMERA AVAILABLE REGUARDLESS OF PRICE JUST TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE. I ENDED UP WITH THE FUJI FINEPIX S602Z. THIS CAMER WAS PRICED $599. I PAID $999 FOR THE SONY AND THIS FUJI BLOWS IT AWAY! PLEASE GO TO THE ALBUM LABLED "HEAD SHOTS" ON MY PICTURETRAIL ALBUM. ALL OF THESE CLOSE UP SHOTS WERE TAKEN WITH THE NEW FUJI. I THINK FOR THE MONEY THIS IS THE BEST CAMERA ON THE MARKET FOR TAKING PICS TO USE ON THE INTERNET. I AM A COMPUTER AND CAMERA IDIOT, BUT THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING. I HOPE THIS HELPS SHED SOME LIGHT ON THE FUJI FINEPIX S602Z.
