These things are signs of a respiratory infection. Your friend should take his snake to a vet who's knowledgeable about treating reptiles. Your friend may also want to have the snake checked for parasites. Chronic RI problems can stem from internal parasites.
Also, there may be some husbandry issues that led to the snake getting an RI. These snakes need humidity in the 75-90% range, and a temp gradient of mid/upper 70s on the cool side to ~85 degrees F on the warm side. If the snake's cage isn't kept in the optimal temp and humdity ranges, or if things like mildew are allowed to build in the cage, this can contribute to the RI. Husbandry issues would need to be addressed or the snake will continue to have health problems.
: why or what is causing a clicking noise in my friends brb? and every once in awhile a bubble will come out of its nose. what has to be dont to fix this? thanks in advance
