Hello,
My BTS has this crusty stuff on the ouside of his bottom lip. It looks like kind of like dried food or some kind of scab but it doesn't come off and it has been there for a while. It has not gone inside his mouth cavity and the crusty stuff is dry, not moist or cheesy like typical mouth rot. He is still eating pretty good and looks very healthy otherwise. The crust substance covers about 25 % of his lower lip.

I think that it may have been leftover food that turned into sometime of dry scab. Should I remove it or should I treat it topically with perhabs a betadine or triple antiobitic product of some sort.

Thanks to anyone who helps,

Chris
