Mad. Grandis tank measurements.

how long would it take for a baby mad. grandis outgrow a 20 gallon tank? Or how long would it take to grow 6 inches? I hope its more than a year, because i need time to beg and annoy my mom to buy me a bigger tank. :)

-Also...whats the minimum size for an adult to live comfortably in the enclosure?
