That would depend on your enclosure and what species you're keeping. For my indoor cages I use 75 watt Hals for my uros but Incs (ranging from 40 to 100 watts) for my beardeds. The exception is in my largest cages where the Hals are needed because of the distance involved with the basking sites from the fixtures.
