what kind of noise does the white spotted gecko make?

I was sitten in my room watching my Gulf Coast toads and I heard some weird noise. Sounded like a grunt or exactly like a baby aligator sound when maken a distress call if any of ya know what those sound like. I was wondering if it was my Geckos. I have a friend who used to have a Tokay and he said it was very noisy and made sounds all the time so I was just wondering about my white spotted geckos and if that is the noise they make.
