Petstores mostly do not take care of their animals very well at all. The people that work there are mostly not trained with lizards and just throw them together. All they are focusing on is selling the lizards as quickly as possible. Notice I said "most", there are some really good pet stores out there, but I havn't seen em.
Most lizards speices are not compatitable. The only people that should be mixing speices are experts on them that have huge enclosures.
Another alternative to mixing speices is to get one speices that has many color morph/phases and house them together, just an idea :)
