Something that is fun to watch...hmmm...something diurnal then. I had some Sceloporus (not sure on the spelling) aka fence lizards. Very excitable little guys. I had 2 in a 20 gallon tank for a few weeks while I was taking some measurements and pictures and some behavior notes (it is amazing at how we city people find the most common of herps so interesting lol). If you could find some, they really are fun little guys. Mine loved to eat, and were very very active. Dont know about the availability on these guys (i am more of a snake/frog guy) but I am sure you could catch some if you can not buy them. Just an idea, certainly not your only option. Andy
