I have a crocodile gecko (moorish gecko, tarantola maur...) in a 10 gal., with plenty of room left for a mate. They're pretty cool little lizards, though definately a "look-but-don't-touch" kinda pet. :-)
I started my leopard gecko in a 10 gallon, but it quickly became apparent that it would need more room...I think you'd probably find the same thing. They're kinda lazy lizards, but once they start growing, they do look really cramped in a 10 gal. :-)
